Maine involved some of the furthest travel - and I still have not been able to get to all of the parks in the state. It has also been one of the most frustrating states to actually FIND the parks. Google frequently has the wrong information on the location of the park...
Most of our Connecticut visits have been in December, January, February, and March. We have a few more parks to visit around the Hartford area (and a few that were added to the list by people at the parks I was visiting asking “Oh. did you visit XYZ park yet?”).

Over four weekends in November and December of 2024, we visited (what I thought was) all of the dog parks in Vermont… I have since discovered there is one additional park to visit (in Ludlow.) Massachusetts has the most parks of all the New England States, clocking in at over 130 areas designated as dog parks. Other “dog friendly spaces” were not counted in the survey.
