… And we’re off!

We are starting with a survey of people’s perceptions about Dog Parks.

What do you like about your primary dog park? What do you not like about it?

Please take a few minutes to fill this survey out. Encourage others at your park to take the survey. The more data we have, the better we can provide feedback to the various parks and the better we can consider what sort of help the parks need, both on an individual and a group level.

Dog Park Survey

Here’s some background:
In 2017, we were introduced to the main questions in the survey at a conference at the Stanton Foundation (a group in Massachusetts who gives Grants to fund the building of new Dog Parks). We ran this survey for a single local park at that time.

As the New England Dog Park Coalition we’d like to run the survey to gather results from a wider audience and for a number of different town dog parks across all New England states. We are interested in finding out about your perceptions of your local dog park and other area dog parks.

We would like to receive feedback from users of dog parks – both local users who come from the community with the dog park as well as non-local users of the dog parks who travel from other communities. We’d also be interested in hearing from people who don’t currently use a dog park but have opinions about dog parks which they would like to share. This information may be shared among the groups responsible for maintaining some of the dog parks which get mentioned in the questions below.

There are different questions depending on some choices as you answer. There are a maximum of 43 questions, plus 7 demographic questions. Your participation in this survey is voluntary and we appreciate the time that you take to answer.

Please remember that this survey is being used across all 6 New England states – If an open answer question asks about your local park, please include the town and state.

All information will be confidential (it will not be traced back to you) and anonymous (your name will not be asked for).
